"Marcel did a fantastic job DJing our wedding in Sebago, Maine. He had a great energy and was very communicative without being overbearing. He checked in with us when it was important but otherwise let us enjoy the night without interruption. He even offered to extend our time when we realized there was a minor miscommunication in how long we had the venue for. He generally stuck to the provided playlist but was very flexible with requests and with playing certain events by ear that we weren't entirely sure would be on the schedule. You could clearly tell he had a system, and he stuck to it to make sure everyone was on the same page and knew what to expect for the entire night. If we had to think of any constructive criticism, we felt that certain scheduled songs lasted a little too long (such as the first dance, father/daughter, mother/son). He told us in advance that we could give a signal for him to cut things off, and I'm sure he would have honored that. However, it can be difficult to communicate that signal in the moment, especially in say, the mother/son dance where I don't want to seem rude to cut off dancing with my mom. That said, I really want to stress how minor of a detail that was, and I understand how that can be a difficult judgement call to know the exact right time. We were so, so happy with Marcel's performance. He was the perfect balance of professional and fun that made for a perfect wedding reception. Thank you so much!"

"Paul was the DJ at our wedding recently and he was absolutely fantastic! Ahead of the event he was super organized and detail-focused when we spoke on the phone, making sure he knew exactly how we wanted the day to flow. At the event he was incredibly professional, timely, and friendly with all of our guests that he interacted with. He managed multiple moving parts (including mics for the ceremony, live music at the ceremony, MCing the reception, and keeping the dance floor packed) with a smile and stayed one step ahead of everything we could need from him. Our dance floor stayed packed (with guests from 4 weeks to 75+ years old!) and he did a great job fusing our really varied music tastes. As a bonus, his planning ahead for the final song meant we finished the night on a high note! I would highly recommend Paul for any future events, we couldn't have hoped for a better DJ for our event!"

"The ease started right away with speaking with Dave Dionne first who was incredibly prompt and gave us a great feeling right off the bat with choosing Dionne Entertainment. We then got Marcel as our DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic though I feel I might have taken the fun away from him with pretty much making the whole playlist. When we had our consultation call a few weeks before the wedding he asked such great questions, had a lot of fun recommendations and was just overall easy to speak with and continued to keep us feeling comfortable. From the time Marcel arrived to when he left he kept the music going, throwing in a few songs here in there that weren't in my playlist that the crowd loved. He was receptive to requests in making sure he got the thumbs up from me and even though I ruined his surprise fake out at the end he still played it off like the professional he is. The only small thing that happened was a weird tech glitch where our first dance song started playing for the bridal procession but he caught it very quickly and remedied the situation to get the right song playing. Marcel was warm and charismatic, very thoughtful in listening to your requests, and did an amazing job (his lighting set up was also too tier!!) and I would hire him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him 10000%."

Both Dave and DJ Marcel were great to work with prior to the day and on the day of, DJ Marcel went above and beyond. He was on time, the setup was great and professional looking.
